Jamie is the founder and CEO of The Wolf Group International. He is a sociologist, public speaker, facilitator, and trainer who uses his candor and audience-centric presentation style to create environments where learners can authentically engage with the subject matter and each other. After a successful career in senior management where he led large teams in complex organizations, Jamie realized he could have an even greater impact by providing high-quality, experience-based training on topics he is passionate about.

Jamie is an expert in classroom management and pedagogy, both of which make him uniquely qualified to present complex, and sometimes emotionally intense, topics to diverse groups of learners. He specializes in adapting to the students in his classes, pivoting based on their questions while using proven adult learning techniques to present evidence-based content.

He is a recognized authority in four key areas: Risk Management and Ethical Decision-Making, DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility), People Leadership, and Conscious Communication. On these and other topics, Jamie has taught over 4,000 students a year for the past 17 years. He is a skillful communicator who places high value on building relationships, exceeding expectations, leading by example, and responsibly navigating cultural evolutions in the workplace.

Jamie is grateful for the life he has created for himself in the Pacific Northwest where he lives on a five-acre farm on a beautiful island. He enjoys beekeeping, walks in the woods with his dogs, photography, and boating. Jamie is an avid reader, and lifelong learner.

Sandra Cushnie (she/her) is a JEDI – a Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion educator. A seasoned HR professional, change leader, and communicator Sandra applies over two decades of experience in industry-leading Canadian Corporations to the ultimate change challenge of creating a more equitable world.

Sandra is a proud Caribbean-Canadian Black woman. She is married, a mother of an adult daughter, a caregiver, a martial artist, and an avid runner. She devotes her time outside of work to coaching young athletes (particularly young women) and supporting literacy/reading programs for school-age children in under-served/equity-seeking communities.

Dr. Laura Castro (she/they) is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. Dr. Castro is an American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) Clinical Fellow and Approved Supervisor. She earned a Doctor of Psychology Degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Marital and Family Therapy from Alliant International University and a Master’s Degree in Strategic Communication from National University.

Dr. Castro is a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-I and CCTP-II). She has extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy with individuals, couples/partners, and families and is also trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Trauma-Focused CBT. Dr. Castro serves as an adjunct professor in a master’s-level marriage and family therapy program, offers training and consultation to other clinicians on affirmative therapy, and provides coaching for parents and caregivers of trans and gender diverse youth. 

Dr. Castro is a queer, biracial, disabled military veteran and proud parent of two incredible kids. After 21 years of service in the U.S. Navy, she retired and made San Diego her home. Following her retirement, Dr. Castro embarked on a new career in mental health, driven by her deep commitment to supporting marginalized communities. Outside of her professional life, Dr. Castro fosters neonatal kittens and nurtures a thriving garden.

Dawn is a Cree-Métis member of the Muskoday First Nation. She studied Public Relations at the University of Victoria, holds a First Nations Professional Director (Pro.Dir.) certification through the Johnson-Shoyama School of Public Policy, and has also studied psychology and sociology at the University of Saskatchewan.

With a strong foundation in communications, training and development, and community engagement, Dawn brings a unique perspective to the subject matter. Her approach emphasizes innovative and bold leadership that drives teams toward achieving goals with renewed energy and purpose. Drawing on her lived experience of navigating both western and Indigenous worldviews, she skillfully integrates these perspectives to inform broader decision-making processes.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Dawn co-founded the Saskatchewan Indigenous Yoga Association in 2019, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to making yoga programs accessible to Indigenous communities across Canada, aligning with her deep commitment to Reconciliation.
